We tiptoed over the border into Superior, Wisconsin for a week. Hey, it still counts as a new state! Literally from our campground, going 700 feet one direction you were in Wisconsin, and going 700 feet the other direction you were in Minnesota.

Mont du Lac is a ski resort in the winter, so we experienced some elevation changes again. We had dinner with the next door neighbors at the lodge's restaurant one night and enjoyed some beautiful scenery the rest of the week. We snuck in another visit with our friends, Dave and Rachael, in the neighboring town of Duluth, MN. If you are near the area, look up Burnet Dairy Cooperative....they have a great selection of products for creating a charcuterie board!

It was nice to have a bit of cooler weather. We actually had to dig out a sweatshirt a couple of times this week! More and more I'm realizing I do not like the heat. Apparently, 60-70 degrees is my wheelhouse, haha. It was a nice, peaceful week.
