Our time in Arizona went surprisingly fast. We spent a month at Canyon Vistas and then a month at Campground USA, which has been a repeat RV resort for us. These were our first intentional one-month stays someplace! It was nice to settle in a little bit more and know we were stationary for a bit. At least this time around, anyway.

We had the chance to connect with Chad's family a few times and our daughter was down for a concert in Phoenix over her spring break, so we snuck in a visit with her, too!

One evening we took a ghost tour in downtown Mesa. We got to ride around town on these fun scooters. The ghost part was pretty tame, but it was an entertaining evening all the same on a beautiful night. Thanks to Michel for setting it up!

The last month was a busy recording month for me; I had two audiobook narrations happening simultaneously. That was new! They were both health & wellness books that had some overlap in topics, so I read a lot about gut health, inflammation, and overall well-being. Knowledge was gained all around!

After our time in the Phoenix area, we traveled just over the border into CA to the town of Needles. Old Route 66 runs through part of the town and the Colorado River runs nearby. It has gotten hot here! We had temps of 93-96 for a few days in a row. Hopefully, the slight cool down we are in now will hang on for our second week here!

Desert View RV park is "busy" with a lot of people coming in for a night or two and moving on. When we checked in and he saw we were booked for two weeks, we now know why that seemed a little surprising to the host! The RV sites here are flanked by large oleander bushes that act as a privacy fence. They have really pretty pink flowers. When it has cooled off some in the evenings, it has been nice to be surrounded by nature, at least when it has been calm enough to be outside. The winds have been quite strong here.

Next up on our journey: Hurricane, UT / Ogden, UT
