A year in review...Happy New Year!

Reflecting on the year, we have a few stats for 2024:

By the numbers...

States visited this year: 19

Miles driven: 10,937

Friends and family we visited along the way: over 150 after adding it up!

Repairs needed: 1 (leaky airbag in our rear suspension)

Other repair stops we scheduled because we wanted to: 2 (warranty service at Newmar in Indiana and Freightliner chassis alignment/turning radius adjusted in Arizona)

Nights spent out of our motorhome: ~15. A couple of nights were spent in a hotel when our rig had some paint repaired in Indiana, a few nights in a hotel when we flew back to Utah, and we also stayed at our "home base" in Ogden, UT where our son lives when we were back over Christmas.

Most of December was spent in Utah, actually. For our peace of mind, our rig stayed put in southern Utah in the town of Hurricane, and we drove our Jeep up to SLC and Ogden, respectively, depending on what we had going on! I know our rig CAN handle the snow, but that goes against our principle of "we are sick of dealing with snow" when we set out on this adventure.

We got to see the Minnesota Wild play the Utah Hockey Club in Salt Lake City as a family!

Our son cut down this tree with a Leatherman! He has a good story about his adventure...

And he hung lights on the outside!
