State #7 so far! Arizona

* Casa Grande, AZ: January 6 - 27

It's been a chilly start to the new year. There have been overnight lows of 27 degrees here with highs around 50. Apparently, Arizona didn't get the memo that we wanted 70 degree weather! Hey, but there's no snow, so it still hits that checkmark. I hope all of our friends and family around the country are staying safe in the winter weather. The forecasts have been brutal everywhere else. (*Edit* The week of Jan 15th we are supposed to see 70. Arizona is redeeming itself.)

Chad's parents rent a place in the area January-March, so we had some planning assistance for being somewhere specific! We've gone out for dinner/breakfast with them a few times. Gotta love when someone else does the cooking. Chad also has a few aunts and uncles that winter down here that we've gotten to see, as well. Visiting family is part of our goal with living on the road. We are making it happen!

When we purchased the new rig, we also purchased a Jeep Wrangler Sport S as our tow vehicle. We have decided to jump on the Jeep bandwagon and do some off-road trail driving. Turns out we both really like it! As such, the stock vehicle is not quite set up to handle all things off-road, so we are having some modifications installed this week. It's exciting! I'll post some before and after photos.
