California - Part 3

* Coachella, CA - 21 nights at Coachella Lakes RV Resort. Chad and I got here on December 16th. It's a huge park, but they only have about a third of it open while they finish getting power to all the sites. It was not very busy at the start of our stay, but definitely filled in over the Christmas - New Year time frame. We picked this location because they also have 2 bedroom cabins onsite. Carter and Chloe flew out December 22-27 to spend some time with their crazy parents, and this setup worked out perfectly. They each got their own bed versus having to share a pull out sofa! Ha!

The pictures really tell most of the story here. Palm trees overlooking a lake, mini golf onsite, Pickleball (not pictured, but definitely epic), and much enjoyed family time. Having adult children still feels like a new experience, and it's a pretty great one. We hung out and watched movies, ate yummy treats and a few dinners out, drove into Palm Springs for a day, ventured out to Joshua Tree National Park to look around and did an impromptu Jeep off-road trail, and the kids got to relax after another semester of college.
